The place is really good I suggest if you go get the number 6 the burrito and Taco rice and beans

Queso is yum deep fried Chimmys r good just all around weve liked everything and the staff is super nice

Everyone has their own opinion about food, but we enjoy this place. Good enchiladas and chili relleno, good prices.

Small plates and tacos very good food

The food was good, but the value was excellent. Decent quality with large portions.

The tacos and margaritas are cheap and taste amazing! However, there is almost no service at this place at all.

Service is great. And you can find food that you don't normally find elsewhere. For instance beef tripas. Awesome.

Don’t waste your money here you will leave hungry thirsty and disappointed. The food sucked no flavor. We got it fast but after that NEVER saw the waitress again. I watched her check EVERY table she had but ours. She would go around the other way so she wouldn’t make eye contact with me. We all needed refills at the table and she never came back. We just left hungry thirsty and disappointed. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE ANYWHERE ELSE.

The food is pretty good. They have a large menu with items I didn't know existed before. The service has always been fair. They have a full bar and delicious margaritas! Its spacious and cozy. My coworkers and I often relax and have some margaritas after a crazy day.

Lunch with coworkers... grab some enchiladas and iced tea. Friendly waitresses and fresh food.

Not worth the price. Food is overpriced and bland. Taco Bell would have been better.

My first time there went with my 2nd mom and her son then relatives of my 2nd mom.... and I had Great time.... The food was delicious served to the table nice and hot as well... Great service, at Centinela Mexican and VERY GOOD MARGARITAS THE BEST I'VE HAD IN A WHILE. I recommend to stop by and enjoy a good meal or just to stop to enjoy a good margarita either if you live in this area or just passing through.

Upon arriving We told the waitress We needed a few minutes to look at the vast menu. 15 minutes later after she never returned We Summoned another waitress. I had the guacamole taco salad. No flavor whatsoever. The meat was a watery mush and I couldn’t find the guacamole. My husband had the beef enchilada plate and He said it resembled a patio TV dinner. Upon speaking to the manager He basically just defended His nasty food saying no one has ever complained before and took a whole $4.00 off my plate. Talk about no customer service. We won’t return.

Shameful. . . We had a big group scheduled for months in advance. The night of our gathering they wouldn't allow us to order off the menu. They said they were short staffed. They did allow us to order some appetizers that came out mediocre. They missed out on a good sale that night.... most of us sat down, heard they couldn't accommodate us, and we left.

Very good authentic mexican food

The WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!! Everyone in Boerne has been great as new residents we were looking for a great place to eat and everytime we went customer service was horrible. The food is good but the service makes it bad.

Just called to place an order for pickup, was hung up on TWICE, called again and the same guy answered I asked to speak to a manager and he said there wasn't one and he was the only one there, then proceeds to hang up on me AGAIN!My family & I frequent this restaurant and I have never been treated so rudely!We will not be wasting our money here again and will be driving to San Antonio or Kerrville for a real friendly staff.

Great food. Big enough to social distance. Waitress had a mask on. Good stuff

Best margaritas

Big taste ,at low prices and friendly service.

Today's visit was horrible. Yes we came in later in evening around 830 but you close at ten. There were 6 employees cleaning and folding silverware. Ordered the cheese dip and was brought lumpy cheese soup. Very disappointed as I usually love their queso. The enchiladas were bland and my wife was not happy with her tacos as well. Plus when I told the waitress about my cheese soup she smiled and said oh I sorry and enjoy your meal. Like seriously disappointed with this visit. Will be looking for new local spot after this.

Loved it, had the best carne asada.

$9.50 drink they say had alcohol in a margarita but for $9.50 you should be able to taste some all tasted was very sweet mix, chips tasted like out of a store bought stale bag, husband & I ordered a quesadilla to share and people who came in after after us were half way done with each of their plates and we still weren't even served yet !! Horrible, HORRIBLE, DONT GO THERE !!

We go here weekly. The staff is very friendly and remembers our drink order. No matter what you order from their LARGE menu the food is really good. The prices are also great. I wouldn't hesitate to bring a large group here.

Used to go here for breakfast often, been awhile and now it was really poor quality, terrible presentation, got one of our orders wrong. Disappointed.

Delicious filling food and it was upended on 4th of July! I had called quite a few places that weren't open r due to the holiday. Handicap accessible, restaurant is very clean, not easy to easy to see from the street It's on the street street behind Wells Fargo . Excellent staff, too!! 😁

Food was good. Salsa for chips was excellent. Service was very poor. They put down coffee for my drink and I had water. Just paied for it because service was so slow. They had plenty of wait staff, so not sure why they had problem.

Revision from 5 stars down to 3. Update revision from 3 to 1 as of 5-25-20. My wife and I used to come here frequently but don’t really go anymore. The food has really gone downhill. We have gone right when they open several times and have got old food that we even questioned if it was leftover from the day before. Also one waitress that we seem to get every time is another reason we downgraded this from 5 stars to 3. The reason we downgraded from 3 to 1 is because the past 3 times we have gone the food has gone downhill. Watery rice, watery queso that doesn’t ever thicken, chips seem to be store bought now and they are super salty. We are done spending money with this restaurant.

Great place to go for lunch. Lunch special is reasonable priced. Service is good, but if you want more tea, you always have to ask. I come here at least once a week.
